Island Roads will be deploying its fleet of gritters across the Isle of Wight road network tonight (Monday).
Temperatures are forecast to dip below freezing overnight into Tuesday morning, resulting in the decision to complete a full salt run from 22:00 tonight.
It’s the first time in several days that the gritters have been deployed from Stag Lane.
Motorists are advised to take extra care when on the roads.
