The Isle of Wight Green Party has announced that its Deputy Leader, Rachel Millward, will visit the Isle of Wight this weekend as part of the party’s growing local election campaign.
Millward is set to visit on Saturday (4th April), where she will meet with local businesses and deliver a public talk in Newport focused on increasing Green Party representation on the Isle of Wight Council.
Her visit comes as the Isle of Wight Green Party looks to build momentum ahead of the upcoming May elections, with party members highlighting what they describe as increasing local support.
Rachel Millward was elected to the Green Party leadership team in September last year alongside Zack Polanski and Mothin Ali. She has also led the party into control at Wealden District Council in East Sussex following decades of Conservative leadership.
During her visit, Millward is expected to outline the Green Party’s national vision and explain the potential impact of electing more Green councillors locally.

“We need to win as many seats as we can in the locals as well as in the next general election, but we also are growing our broader movement. Greens have a clear message of hope instead of hate. We will expose the lies of Reform and Farage – it just couldn’t matter more.”

Yes it’s mind-blowing hypocrisy. They assume that their target audience are simple minded rurals who will swallow anything.

Even his own family can see he’s full of rubbish and pandering to the Islamists.
The people closest to him are warning us. The Greens will destroy our culture in their quest for power. Time for everyone to listen. If the Greens ever get real power Britain is finished.

We thought the Tories were bad, but they paled into insignificance with Starmer’s bunch of incompetents, and we thought a political party couldn’t get any worse. How wrong we were.
The Greens should be banned completely, not just for their asinine policies, but for their rampant anti-semitism.
Perhaps they should reflect on how many Jews flew aeroplanes into the twin towers. Reflect on how many Jews killed the Charlie Hebdo staff. Reflect on the October 7th atrocities.
Those of us who consider ourselves to be fair-minded should feel ashamed for the treatment the Jewish community in the UK are having to undergo.

Hamza Egal, Chair of Global Majority Greens and a member of the party’s Standing Orders Committee, has just made a formal complaint accusing the party leadership of “structural racism”.
Against Jews of course? Oh no, against Muslims and black and brown people.
Why? Well apart from some general stuff about endemic longterm racism he is particularly incensed because the party ran out of time at its conference to pass a motion to label Zionism (the new euphemism for all Jews) as racism.
You see its OK to be a Green and racist against the Jews, but if you are not sufficiently so then it must be racism against anyone not Jewish.
What is odd is that there have not been any messages of support for these racist thugs from the 2 usual suspects on here.
Maybe even they are too ashamed to do so!
Millward needs to be questioned by Island Journalists at Quay Arts (where else would she be allowed to spout her bigotry?).
Does she support anti-Semitism or, if not, why have the bigots not been expelled from her party?
