Trevor Gosset was among the standout performers at Westridge Golf Club as members enjoyed another busy week of competition ending on 19th April.
Breezy conditions greeted players for the April Bowl on 12th April, just days after the Spring Cup, with Gosset mastering the testing weather to claim victory with a net 62.
He was the only player to finish under par, with Kim Meguyer taking 2nd on countback from Phil Brennan after both carded level-par net 64s.
It has also been an eventful fortnight at Westridge, with 2 official hole-in-ones recorded by Glen Winnard and Brian Skelley, alongside 2 more in social and general play.
Other results during the week saw Chris Wilkinson win Division 1 in the Stableford on 15th April with 37 points, finishing ahead of Bob Singh-Bansi on 36 and Ollie Kearney on 35 after countback.
In Division 2, John Clenton came out on top with 38 points, with Peter Holdcroft 2nd on 33 and Clive Martin 3rd on 31.
Gary Cass won the 9 Hole Stableford held across 17th and 18th April with 22 points. Bowy White was 2nd on 19 points on countback, with Glen Winnard 3rd and George King 4th, also on 19.
In the Ladies Stableford on 18th April, Louise Webb took 1st place with 33 points, followed by Jan Little on 31 and Jasmine Royl on 30 on countback.
The week ended with another Stableford on 19th April, where Trevor Gosset continued his fine form by winning Division 1 on countback with 36 points from Ollie Kearney, while Pete Holton was 3rd on the same score.
Walter Mallinson topped Division 2 with an impressive 42 points, ahead of Brian Skelley on 38 and Martin Whitehead on 37.
