Organisers of The Garlic Festival have confirmed that the popular annual event will be returning in August after a 2-year break forced by the COVID pandemic.
The event, which last ran in 2019, is held at Hale Common near Newchurch and will take place on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st August 2022.
At the heart of the festival is, of course, Britain’s best most loved and pungent garlic and you’ll find it everywhere – to eat, drink and buy! The festival also offers all-round family entertainment including a live music stage.
Tickets have gone on sale priced at £12.50 per adult and £7.50 per child (4+), with a special offer in March with childrens’ tickets priced at £5. Trader applications are also now open with businesses, caterers, producers, artists, crafters and performers invited to apply by emailing [email protected].
The Garlic Festival will support a number of local good causes including The Wave Project, Way Forward, Wight Crystal and Isle of Wight Sporting Bears.
