The Porter Club, a friendly community club in the heart of Lake, is inviting local residents and groups to enjoy a welcoming atmosphere, regular events and affordable drinks.
The club, which has a long and interesting history, runs darts and pool teams and offers its space for hire to local groups, clubs and party bookings during the day or at weekends. As a members’ club, members cannot be excluded but the committee says they always do their best to accommodate anyone wishing to book, thanks to their friendly and inclusive approach.
Regular events include a meat raffle and charity BBQs – when the weather permits. The club also loves to celebrate occasions such as Halloween and Christmas with fancy dress, karaoke nights and live music. Every other Thursday, a folk night brings together musicians and music lovers for an evening of local talent.
