Firefighters from the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are in attendance at a property in Wootton this afternoon (Sunday).
An aerial ladder appliance is at the scene on Lushington Hill, where it is thought crews are dealing with a chimney fire crews are rescuing a crow stuck in the chimney stack.
The road remains open in both directions, however delays are possible.
The RSPCA are also on scene.
