Firefighters from Ryde have been called to Seaview this morning (Saturday) where the local pharmacy has started to flood.
Water is currently leaking into the ground floor business from the flat above, which fire crews are attempting to gain access too.
Island Echo understands that the flat is used as a holiday home. With no keys available, a number of tools are being utilised to force entry to the property.
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene on Pier Road at just gone 10:10.
Hampshire Constabulary are also attending the incident.
