The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire at a house on Osborne Road in East Cowes at around 17:00 this evening.
2 teams from Newport were despatched to the scene but it is understood that the fire was already out by the time they arrived.
However, firefighters remained on the scene to air the property and to ensure the welfare of those present. Thankfully, it is understood that no injuries were sustained.
1 of the crews from the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service has now left the scene.
