Appliances from across the Island are on scene at the top of Lake Hill, with crews working to locate any seat of fire.
Initial indications suggest there is no sign of fire within the ground floor of building but investigations continue.
4 pumping appliances, an aerial ladder platform and the Incident Command Unit are present, alongside the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
UPDATE @ 16:30 – A small fire has been located on the 1st floor of the centre.
4 breathing apparatus and a hose reel are being used by fire crews, although the situation appears to be under control.
All those who have evacuated from the centre are safe and well.

Oh no, let’s hope there is not a fire in there.
Hey sunshine, why do you go out of your way to state the obvious?
If it happened at Cowes Medical Centre there certainly wouldn’t be any doctors to do anything about it cos they are in hiding
Typical! Possibly the only GP practice that is working almost normally and it nearly gets burned to the ground! Perhaps the GP mafia didn’t like them offering face to face appointments?
