UPDATED: Firefighters from Newport are attending a fire in Gurnard this afternoon (Tuesday).
Two appliances are currently tackling a blaze at Upper Horn Hill off Rew Street, where a wood store is said to be well alight.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident at around 13:50.
UPDATE @ 14:45 – The flames have now been dowsed with crews turning their attention to damping down the area. The outbuilding has been destroyed.
Firefighters are using a main jet and other tools.
