Firefighters rushed to GKN in East Cowes this morning (Monday) following reports of a fire.
Crews from Newport and Ryde rushed to the scene on Ferry Road at around 10:45.
Staff were evacuated from the premises whilst firefighters investigated the incident.
At the scene, a fire was located in a server room and extinguished using the onsite suppression system.
Firefighters then used ventilation to rid the area of smoke.
All crews stood down at around 11:10.
