Police have issued an image of woman they would like to speak to following 2 shoplifting incidents at Ryde’s Tesco Extra.
At about 20:00 on Monday 14th July, a woman entered the Tesco store on Brading Road and stole 2 bottles of wine.
A woman also stole £120 worth of items from the same Tesco store at about 18:30 on Tuesday 4th March.
A Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has said:
“As part of our ongoing enquiries we are releasing an image of a woman we would like to identify in connection with this incident.
“If anyone recognises this woman, please call 101 quoting reference 44250261854 or 44250097910.”

UPDATE ON FRIDAY 25TH JULY – Police have confirmed that the female has been located.
No arrests have been made.

Hey, come on now. Perhaps she has issues, as it seems many people have now. Perhaps she doesn’t really know why she did it. Could be many reasons, cost of living, insufficient income. Let’s not be too hard on her, I’m sure Tesco priced items have been set to offset theft.
