The driver of a Honda Civic that ploughed into a pensioner’s house in Blackwater last month is still being sought by Police.
It was early on 10th September that the car left the carriageway at Blackwater Hollow and collided with a residential property, coming to rest up in the air.
Luckily no one was injured in the single-vehicle smash, which caused substantial damage to the front of the house.
The driver of the Civic – and his 2 occupants – fled the scene on foot. It’s thought that the vehicle had only just transferred ownership in the days before the incident.
Hampshire Constabulary has confirmed that no arrests have been made in relation to the crash.
Enquiries remain ongoing at this time.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police on 101, quoting 44220369111.

The public are more likely to be able to help if the registration number is published along with any non standard features of the car if there are any .
I thought you had to notify DVLA if you sold a vehicle and tell them who you sold it to. Prosecute the previous owner for failing to give details. I’m sure they know who they sold it to.
Such terrific police work.
