Investigations are underway after a vehicle driver, who crashed into parked cars in Ventnor last night, fled the scene.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary were first alerted to the collision on Mitchell Avenue at around 21:45 last night.
At the scene, a vehicle had crashed into a parked Citroen Nemo and Honda Civic, however the vehicle didn’t stick around and left the scene without stopping.
Both the vehicles, which are heavily damaged, have been left in situ.
No injuries were reported in the collision, it has been confirmed.
Police have confirmed that inquiries into the incident remain ongoing.

So did they move the cars in the picture? How does another car hit a van on its right side and then the far in front it’s smashed on its front right making that Impossible without someone moving the car. It looks more like the car came home on a drunken night hit the van then parked and before his ol’lady found out he slammed a hit and run….
