A 32-year-old man was arrested in Ryde last night (Thursday) for assaulting Police officers who were investigating a domestic incident that occurred elsewhere in the town earlier in the night.
Officers attended an address on Union Road to make an arrest as part of enquiries into a domestic-related incident that occurred on nearby Bellevue Road.
Whilst at the address, attending officers were assaulted.
A 32-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage, as well as common assault of an emergency worker.
He remains in custody at this time.
It was only last week that Police were called to Union Road after a man was shot with a BB gun pellet in the eye.
So many violent, disrespectful scum bags around now. 32 years of age, he should know right from wrong. Grow up man.
