UPDATED: Passengers traveling on Red Funnel’s Hi-Speed Red Jet service are facing disruption today (Thursday) with a one-boat service in operation.
Due to a technical issue with one of the craft, sailings are departing Southampton at XX:45 and from West Cowes at XX:15. The reduced timetable is anticipated to continue throughout the day.
Following the sale of Red Jet 5, the operator has been left with 2 craft – Red Jet 3 & Red Jet 4 – ahead of the introduction of Red Jet 6 to service in the coming weeks.
Red Funnel apologise for the inconvenience to your journey.
UPDATE @ 16:35 – Red Funnel have advised that they have been able to enter Red Jet 6 into service, allowing a normal timetable service to resume.
