A crash involving 2 vehicles has led to debris being flung across the carriageway on Middle Road between Calbourne and Carisbrooke this afternoon (Monday).
Emergency services are en-route to the scene of the smash on Calbourne Road, at the junction with Rowridge Lane.
It occurred just before 16:50.
It’s thought 1 vehicle has exited a side road and come into contact with another vehicle travelling along the main road connecting Freshwater and Newport.
UPDATE – The scene has now been cleared following recovery of both vehicles.

Mini, must have been doing 50mph+
THERE IS NO LAW AND ORDER ON ISLAND ROADS
More police need recruiting or the Council
should have speed Camera’s installed.
