Eastern Gardens in Ryde will come alive with superheroes, villains and princesses next month as Deadpool Rob and his team of cosplayers host their 5th annual Summer Fun Day to raise money for Breast Cancer Now.
The family-friendly event will take place from 10:00-16:00 on Sunday 3rd August, and promises a huge selection of activities and attractions for all ages. Visitors can look forward to meeting a wide range of characters, from famous heroes and villains to beloved princesses.
Fans of iconic movie vehicles will be excited to see a Jurassic Park jeep and a DeLorean on display. There will also be face painting, stalls and a prize raffle.
This year, Deadpool Rob and Friends are teaming up with Ryde Carnival, who will have a stall on site and oversee a fancy dress and cosplay competition for all ages.
Other highlights include a splatter tent paintball range from Game On, exotic animals to meet, and live entertainment from Stevo and Kai, as well as music from Bethan John.
Organisers say everyone is welcome, whether in full costume or not. The focus is on having fun while raising money for a worthy cause.
