Thousands flocked to the County Showground in Northwood over the weekend for the 124th Royal Isle of Wight County Show, which once again brought together the very best of Island farming, food, drink and entertainment.
Families and visitors enjoyed livestock and equine classes, parades of tractors, woodland crafts and a packed programme in the Main Ring and Village Green. Local producers showcased everything from cherries to whisky.
A special highlight was the ever-popular Sheep Show, with Nobby the sheep delighting crowds, while young visitors explored the Show Farm and tried hands-on activities.
This year’s proceeds will go towards the Rural Careers Fund, helping Island students build skills for the future.
