UPDATED: A road traffic collision has forced the closure of Whitcombe Road in Carisbrooke this morning (Tuesday).
Emergency services are currently on scene between Cedar Hill roundabout and Whitecroft.
Island Echo understands a car has crashed into a bus, however no one is thought to be trapped in either vehicle.
1 person is being treated by the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service for minor injuries.
Motorists should avoid the area, diverting via Blackwater.
UPDATE – The scene has now been cleared.
