A single vehicle collision on the main road between Shanklin and Godshill is causing delays this lunchtime (Thursday).
Police and paramedics were first called to the scene on Shanklin Road at around 12:00, following reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision.
The incident has occurred on the stretch of road between Godshill and Sanford.
At the scene, a Skoda Roomster travelling toward Godshill has collided with the edge of a driveway wall, with the airbags on the hatchback deploying as a result.
Those involved are being checked over by paramedics in the back of an ambulance.
Shanklin Road remains open.

Is there not an accident investigation team on the
Island who can see if speeding was the cause of the
Accident!!, if so licence removal and crush the
vehicle.
