UPDATED: Cowes RNLI have this morning (Wednesday) been tasked to reports of a drifting tender in the Solent.
Solent Coastguard tasked the volunteer lifeboat crew to launch at 10:36 after receiving multiple reports of the small dingy drifting with no apparent persons on board.
The Sheena Louise B-Class lifeboat and her crew are currently working to assess if the dinghy has anyone associated with it.
UPDATE: After 1 hour of searching, nothing was found.
