Members of the Isle of Wight Community Club Indoor Bowls Section have raised more than £1,500 for local charity, Sight for Wight, following their annual fundraising event.
A total of 64 bowlers took part in the popular spoon drive, alongside a number of supporters and spectators, helping to generate £1,519 for the Newport-based independent charity.
The event was organised in aid of Sight for Wight, which is based on Carisbrooke Road in Newport and supports people living with sight loss across the Isle of Wight.
Barry Bridgeman, who organised the event, presented the cheque to Sight for Wight on behalf of the Indoor Bowls Committee.
The IW Community Club is located on Park Road in Cowes and offers a range of facilities, including four indoor bowling rinks.
