Fire crews from Newport and Cowes are attending a cooker fire in the county town this evening (Saturday).
2 appliances were mobilised to a residential property at the junction of Banner Lane and Hunnyhill at just before 17:35.
The occupants of the property have evacuated and the fire has been extinguished, however firefighters remain on scene damping down and clearing the area.
Thankfully, no body has been injured in the incident.
