“I’m delighted to have been given the confidence of the Conservative Group once again and I’m determined to work with my colleagues, with the Island business community and with the Island MP, Andrew Turner, to develop strategies for economic growth and job creation so that everyone on the Island can benefit from the Conservative Government’s long term economic strategy.”

Andrew Turner says:

Cllr Whitehouse added:

“There’s a really great mood in the Conservative Group at present. The outcome of the General Election on the Island and nationally has reinvigorated the Party. Support on the doorsteps is fantastic now that we’ve seen off both Ukip and the Scottish Nationalist alliance with Labour that threatened to wreck the country.”
