The driver of a Renault Clio was taken to hospital with minor injuries after crashing at Blackwater overnight.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to Blackwater Road on the outskirts of Newport at around 02:00 when a car overturned on a bend.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident, which resulted in the closure of the road for a short time.
The driver of the white Renault, understood to be a woman, was conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital with minor injuries after being assisted from the vehicle.
No arrests have been made and the collision is being treated as an accident.
