Despite Saturday’s wind and rain, Shanklin United Reformed Church was packed to the gallery for a Christmas Concert by Shanklin Town Brass Band.
The combined community and youth bands, conducted by Malcolm Lewis, performed one set of Christmas songs.
The senior band did 2 sets, conducted by Ashley Wicks. Even Father Christmas joined in, playing ‘Here Comes Santa Claus’ on the tuba.
