Coastguard Rescue Teams were tasked to assist colleagues from the ambulance service and the Police with a suicidal individual at Culver Down this morning (Christmas Day).
Officers from Ventnor and The Needles were called out at 11:35.
The incident was brought to a successful conclusion by the time Coastguard teams arrived on scene between Bembridge and Sandown.
The individual at the centre of the multi-agency incident was taken into the appropriate care by the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service.
