Fire crews from both Freshwater and Yarmouth have attended a chimney fire in Newbridge this evening (Sunday).
Firefighters have been able to safely extinguish the fire using a stirrup pump from below and a hose reel from above. A log burner has been removed from the rural property.
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to the incident at around 17:30.
