The annual Chillerton Flower Show is set to return next Saturday (26th July), promising a traditional afternoon packed with village activities.
Exhibits will be displayed in the main marquee showcasing vegetables, flowers, home baking, children’s classes, photography and artwork.
Visitors can also enjoy traditional stalls, including skittles and a coconut shy dotted around the green, with live music performances adding to the atmosphere.
A tug-of-war is planned alongside special displays from the Isle of Wight Squirrel and Hedgehog Societies. Tea and homemade cakes will be served in the Village Hall.
The event is being held from 14:00-17:00 at Chillerton Village Green.
Admission costs £3 for adults, while children can attend free of charge. Free parking will be available for all visitors.

Always one of my favourite shows, sorry to miss it
this year. I will be away for a short overseas break.
Hope it’s a great sunny day.
