A children’s choir group here on the Isle of Wight is spreading Christmas cheer through song this festive season.
Named Treble Makers IOW, the group was formed in a bid to spread some festive cheer to care home residents.
The group of youngsters – aged 10 and 11 – rehearsed for several weeks in the lead-up to their debut performance at Medina Leisure Centre earlier this month.
The group – who received some snazzy jumpers courtesy of a local sponsor – has also wowed residents of Shanklin’s Tile House and Springfield Nursing Home as well as residents of The Limes in Bembridge.
This week looks set to be another busy one for the Treble Makers IOW, with a total of 5 performances on the cards, before they can enjoy a well-earned Christmas break.
Come the New Year, there are plans to expand and open Treble Makers up to more age groups.
