Island band Wet Leg’s latest album ‘moisturiser’ has gone straight to number 1 of the official UK album chart.
Titled ‘moisturiser’, the album fended off stiff competition from Amy MacDonald and Oasis – who are in the middle of a mega reunion tour – to take number 1 spot.
Only released on 11th July, the album has already garnered a plethora positive reviews from various newspapers such as the The Times and leading industry titles such as Rolling Stone.
Just last month, Wet Leg also made a return to Glastonbury, playing the Other Stage for the first time after shutting down The Park Stage back in 2022.
Wet Leg comprises; Rhian Teasdale and band members Hester Chambers, Josh Mobaraki, Ellis Durand and Henry Holmes.

are 5 minute wonders.
Will they stand the test of time.
Well of course you will grandad. I don’t think you’re their target audience. Just keep on listening to that tired old blues covers band
