Coastguard Officers assisted the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service in moving an injured man in Bembridge this morning (Thursday).
Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team were requested to assist paramedics shortly before 10:50.
It was reported that a man had fallen down steps at Foreland and had sustained suspected spinal injuries.
The casualty was packaged into a stretcher and carried up the steps to an ambulance waiting in a nearby car park.
We were down there at the time it was swift and very professional well done to all, and we hope the gentleman makes a good recovery
