UPDATED: Police and ambulance crews are attending a minor road traffic collision on Brading Downs this evening (Sunday).
A silver VW Golf has come to rest on its roof between Brading and the turn off for Ashey, resulting in the road becoming blocked in both directions.
Glass and other debris has been spread across the carriageway in the apparent single vehicle incident. Emergency services were alerted at around 07:45.
No one is trapped inside the vehicle and no serious injuries have been sustained.
Motorists should divert locally.
UPDATE @ 21:24 – Brading Downs Road has now re-opened to traffic following the recovery of the overturned vehicle.
