UPDATED: A Vauxhall Corsa has come to rest upside down on its roof on Ashey Road near Ryde this evening (Thursday).
Police and paramedics are in attendance between The Downs and East Ashey Lane, close to the fields used for the IW Scurry. They were called to the scene at around 19:00.
No one has been trapped or seriously injured in the apparent single vehicle collision.
Ashey Road remains open in both directions with minor delays.
UPDATE – 1 casualty has been taken to St Mary’s Hospital with minor injuries.
The vehicle has now been recovered.
