Emergency services have rushed to Apse Heath this afternoon (Friday) where a car has crashed, coming to rest on its roof.
Initial 999 calls were made at around 14:30 following reports of a road traffic collision on Ventnor Road in the village of Apse Heath.
At the scene a blue Audi TT – seemingly travelling towards Whitely Bank – has crashed coming to rest on its roof, all 4 wheels in the air. Island Echo understands that the Audi collided with a parked vehicle.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service has 2x ambulances on scene as well as an Operational Commander, all medical professionals are currently tending to those involved.
Ventnor Road is currently blocked from between Newport Road and Canteen Road.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area for the time being.

How does a vehicle end up on it’s roof?,
seems to be an Island Trend.
Probably aqua planned. And nothing to do with bad driving.
Surprisingly with all 4 wheels in the air.
Driving snorted/swilled up was we, or just driving like an arse, or maybe all three
So the Isle of Wight parking upside down season is back in full swing…
It looks like cars driven on the island need to be fitted with roll cages.
Perfectly parked
