UPDATED: A car has collided with a wall in Shanklin Old Village this evening (Saturday), prompting an emergency response.
A rapid response paramedic and an ambulance crew are in attendance at the incident on High Street, which has occurred outside Daish’s hotel.
Police are also on scene having been alerted to the collision at around 17:25.
It is currently unclear what has caused the vehicle to crash.
UPDATE: The gentleman driver of the vehicle is thought to have been called conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital.
The scene has now been cleared.
