Networking is an important and integral part of business life these days…but who says it has to be confined to a stuffy room on a warm summer day? Next month, an Isle of Wight businesswoman is taking networking into the great outdoors with an event that will exercise mind and business brain.
Claire Beasley is bringing the Freshwalks concept to the Island, combining the chance to mingle with clients and colleagues in the great Wight outdoors.
In other parts of the country, Freshwalks has already proved a popular alternative to indoor venue-based networking, organising country walks, city tours and gastro hikes, all in the name of creating closer business connections and promoting workplace wellbeing to boost resilience, inspire creative thinking and bring balance and perspective to busy working lives.
The first netwalk is on Friday 8th August and will take the walkers from the meeting point at Gossips Café on Yarmouth Pier, to Freshwater via the old railway track and back along the other side of the Yar.
Walkers are then welcome to stay on for optional refreshments and further networking at Gossips on their return.
Claire, who runs her own executive and career coaching businesses, said:

Her co-leader on this walk will be another Isle of Wight businesswoman, Rachel Richards, a fitness and wellbeing specialist.
