UPDATED: Police have erected a cordon around the Central convenience store in the heart of Ventnor this morning (Monday).
Officers are investigating a burglary which has seen entry forced to the shop on Victoria Street overnight. It remains unclear as to what has been taken.
It’s second time in recent weeks that the store has been targeted by thieves, with another burglary occurring at the beginning of May.
UPDATE @ 11:01 – Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that cash and alcohol was stolen from the shop sometime between 03:00 and 04:30 this morning.
