Bus passengers and motorists heading into Newport from Ryde and East Cowes are facing delays of up to 20 minutes this morning (Tuesday).
Southern Vectis has blamed the delays on a broken down vehicle which is partially blocking 1 lane of traffic on Fairlee Road – with traffic towards Newport now tailing back as far as the Racecourse Roundabout.
Routes 5 and 9 are being affected by the delays. Traffic is also heavy heading into Wootton, with queues on Lushington Hill.
