Brading Roman Villa is seeking to recruit new trustees to strengthen its board and support the future of one of the UK’s finest Roman sites on the Isle of Wight.
The opportunity offers individuals the chance to play a key role in preserving the Scheduled Monument, while also contributing to education and community engagement across the Isle of Wight.
Brading Roman Villa is a maritime courtyard villa known for its internationally recognised mosaics. Set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the site overlooks chalk downlands and the sea.
The museum and surrounding grounds highlight the archaeology of the site, offering insight into Roman life in Britain and welcoming visitors of all ages throughout the year.
Those appointed as trustees will help guide the ongoing development of the attraction, supporting its aim to remain accessible, educational and engaging.
The organisation is particularly interested in individuals who can bring experience in fundraising and sponsorship, legal matters, property or land management, and museum administration or curation.
