A much-loved resident of Inver House Care Home in Bembridge, Betty Toogood, has marked her 104th birthday with a party, followed by a special trip to her favourite seaside café.
Betty celebrated her milestone birthday on Tuesday (30th September), with the team at Inver House hosting a party for her family at the home.
The following day, staff helped make Betty’s birthday wish come true by arranging a visit to The Harbour View café in Bembridge – her favourite local spot. The café generously prepared a special lunch of fish and chips just for her.
Betty was said to be over the moon with the kind gesture. Other visitors at the café even joined in by singing Happy Birthday to help mark the occasion.
Hartford Care and Inver House say they were proud to help make the day memorable for such a cherished member of their care home community.
