Police have launched an investigation after several West Wight beach huts were vandalised.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary were first alerted to the spate of vandalism at around 10:00.
Island Echo understands as many as 4 beach huts – located near popular restaurant The Hut – were targeted overnight (Monday into Tuesday).
A Police spokesperson has said:
“Anyone with information should call 101, quoting reference number 44250129591.”
I have always fancied owning a beach hut,
but they are a sitting target for uneducated
Numpty’s to vandalise them.
Safer to hire one.
I see the “popular” CP curse is spreading.
Really what the point they won’t find or do anything about it..
