Aspire Ryde has announced the return of its free ‘Summer Food & Fun’ sessions this August, offering activity days for children entitled to free school meals across Ryde, Lake and Shanklin.
Running throughout the summer holidays, the sessions aim to provide creative play, nutritious meals and a welcoming space for local children.
Activities will be hosted at four community venues: Aspire Soft Play and Café in Ryde, Aspire Creative Hub in Ryde, the new Aspire Creative Hub in Shanklin and Wightwater Adventure Water Sports in Lake.
Steve Johnson, Deputy CEO at Aspire, has said:
“We’re proud to bring this much-loved programme back to families across the Island.
“It’s not just about activities – it’s about building confidence, friendship, and a sense of community.”
