Due to the anticipated poor weather tomorrow (Tuesday), the Wightlink Warriors’ National League speedway meeting against the Cradley Heathens at home has been postponed.
The meeting was due to take place at the Andrew Younie Smallbrook Stadium at 19:00 tomorrow, however with significant rainfall forecast the decision has been taken to call the meeting off and save any expense.
It’s the second time the Isle of Wight v Cradley competition has been hit by the rain with the initial running halted by the referee after just 5 heats.
The Warriors were hoping to bounce back from 2 away defeats over the weekend. The Plymouth Devils took a 53 – 37 victory over the Island side, who also took a massive hammering at Lakeside yesterday (Sunday) with a 63-27 defeat.
