Following the fancy dress theme of all things nautical for 2013, Bestival organisers have really gone to town by bringing in a full-size boat to the Bestival arena!
Proving popular with the crowds, the aptly named ‘HMS Bestival’ is part of ‘The Port’, a landlocked harbour with the magnificent HMS Bestival as its centrepiece, surrounded by a pier, nautical sideshows and all the action of a bustling port.
The boat isn’t quite as it seems… as curator Rob Da Bank revealed earlier today. HMS Bestival has been made from wood and metal in-situ, but has fooled many.
The Port played host to UK number one star Duke Dumont at 18:00 this evening, for what was an incredible one and a half hour set.
