UPDATE – Island Echo understands that medics were responding to an apparent suicide attempt in Niton village.
Members of the public found an unconscious male on the High Street opposite the village’s Post Office. First aid was administered prior to the arrival of paramedics, who then transported the male to the air ambulance. However, he was not conveyed to the mainland.

I hope he gets the help that is needed, and his life has been saved thanks to the paramedics. I hope the comments can be dignified as his friends family might read co.ments. its hard e oughfor all concerned to recover from this and support this person .
The Air Ambulance does a great job.
I pray all is well, he will be in the best place for treatment.
If the air ambulance arrived, and goes back to base anyway, why not just take the man and not waste the journey?
