4 PODIUM PLACES FOR ISLE OF WIGHT PANTHERS KICKBOXERS IN BIRMINGHAM

4 of the Isle of Wight Panther Kickboxing Team recently travelled to Birmingham to compete at the Kickboxing GB British Championships 2024, winning 2 golds, a silver and a bronze medal. Sali Buci came home with a bronze medal losing out to the champion in a great fight. George Borrett won gold via unanimous decision, achieving a standing 8 count in the last round. George has now won the 67kg full-contact British title. Dominic Marsh also struck gold through a unanimous decision, landing the bigger and more powerful shots against a well drilled K1 opponent. Dominic now has 2 Great Britain titles. Marsh will go on to compete at the World Cup in Hungary in June. The 60kg K1 British Champion Harvey Abbott lost a split decision in the final against a game opponent, earning himself a silver medal and a possible place in Team Great Britain.
