A 24-year-old woman from Wroxall has been charged with failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis following a road traffic collision in Newport during the early hours of this morning (Saturday).
Police received a report of a road traffic collision on Godric Road at around 01:05. Officers responded to the scene and a woman was arrested on suspicion of a driving offence.
Hampshire Constabulary have now confirmed that Leah Georgette Franklin, of St Martins Road, Wroxall, has been charged with failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis.
She is due to appear at Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on Tuesday 20th August.
