UPDATED: 22-year-old Natasha Pink of Caesars Road, Newport is to appear before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court today (Thursday) accused of the attempted wounding with intent of a 26-year-old man.
The man – who has asked not to be named – walked into The Crispin pub at around 21:00 on Tuesday night after he had sustained a puncture wound to his chest, as first reported by Island Echo. The 26-year-old was rushed to St Mary’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The assault is said to have taken place at an address on Caesars Road sometime between 20:00-20:50.
As part of Hampshire Constabulary’s investigations into the incident, Miss Pink has been charged with Section 18 attempted wounding with intent. She has also been charged with possession of cannabis.
UPDATE @ 12:25 – Miss Pink has been remanded in custody to appear before the Isle of Wight Crown Court on 18th December.
